There is no set length needed to get hair extensions. A successful hair extensions application has a number of factors involved including length, density, cut etc. The best way to find out if you can have hair extensions is to book an in salon free consultation. You can book your consultation in the appointments tab in the menu.

Here is a guide to help you understand how much hair you might need for a successful blend.

Short hair above shoulders - 150gm - 200gm to achieve volume + length up to18'

Fine - Medium hair - 50gm will gain volume to add thickness

Fine hair, no density - 100gm will give you volume + length up to 18' - 22'

Fine hair, with density - 100-150gm to achieve volume + length up to 18' - 24'

Medium hair, no density - 150gm to achieve volume + length up to 18' - 24'

Medium hair with density - 150gm to achieve volume + length up to 18' - 22'

Thick hair - 200gm to achieve volume + length up to 18' - 22'

Remember: The longer you want your dream hair, the more hair is needed to give a healthy more natural look. 26' hair is only recommended in certain circumstances.

Hair extensions are not a 1 size fits all situation. Each method of hair extensions serves its own purpose and depending on your hair density, care routine, and lifestyle will depend on which method is best for you.

The deluxe hair is a higher quality of hair which is ethically sourced and handled in a different manner. It is also has a higher ratio of thickness right to the ends therefore the lifespan can be longer if cared for properly. 

The essentials hair is quality hair, sourced from donors and is remy cuticle hair. It has a higher process method and is slightly lower in ratio thickness to the ends giving this hair a typical life span of approx. 6 months if cared for properly. 

This depends on which application method and which range of hair is ordered. Ordering can take as little as 1-2 business days for the essentials range & up to 1 -  2 weeks for the deluxe range. Once the hair is received in the salon, i can apply usually next day or within a couple days of receiving. 

This question is asked a lot & most salons will just answer No, but the answer is it depends on how you care for your hair while wearing hair extensions, it depends on which method is chosen & it depends on your maintenance schedule. Correct application is also very important. Make sure your hair extensions technician is highly experienced and professional.  I take pride in offering the correct method to match the hair density & lifestyle you live. Tailoring this to the individual will not cause damage to the natural hair and give you the most bang for your buck and a better hair extension experience. 

Yes absolutely. You are welcome to BYO hair if you have already purchased your hair extensions elsewhere. I am also more than happy to provide maintenance on hair extensions applied elsewhere. Where you require a "fix up" appointment, your appointment cost might be higher than the standard maintenance as this is a BYO appointment requiring a full install.
